Why is my fore head all red and shiny after getting my eyebrows threaded?

ok i always get my eyebrows threaded and most of the time there isnt alot of inflammation but this time the space between my eyebrows are all red and shiny and there are bumps here and there and its smooth to the touch. ugh i hate it. what caused it? its hasnt happend before.
