I have been to now 3 of these appointments and heard that I may be entitled to "pain & suffering" and Yes, I am in great pain, still! So I asked the insurance company about this and they said they would have to open another type of claim, so an adjuster came out to my home, checked out the laundry room where I fell, my shoes and asked me questions. That was just about a week ago, he said he was forwarding his decision to the original person on my claim, and the original person said that I have to wait until I am discharged from the chirporactor and then they can offer me a settlement. I'm not familiar with this type of thing, can someone tell me what I should expect next? Am I entitled to pain & suffering? I am a single Mother and although I'm not in a huge amount of pain right this second, I am extremely uncomfortable every day and can't do normal day to day activities with my kids. Can you please share with me your experiences? She said my medical bills would automatically be covered up to $2000, should I just be happy with that and go on with life? I have already used $1200 for ER, and paid a few Chiro visits and hat if my chiropractor treatments go over $780, which is what is left for medical coverage? Thanks.

She also gets a black fungus from skin allergy that I put medicine on. I have tried garlic juice on her,no help, pennyroyal oil, but just combing her with a flea comb every time we go out is the only way I have found to get them off. I want help with keeping them from getting on, at least 14 to 20 everytime we go out. We can't spray the yard as we have free range chickens that supply us with eggs. I HATE him. he always gets in the way with my successful life and tries to ruin it. Tonsil/ infection issue!!!?

Tonsillitis/ infection help? I have had multiple sinus infections lately which keep getting passed between me and my two year old son. The drs always tell me its virul until it gets so bad I have to go back for antibiotics finally I had a sinus infection recently that got so bad before they believed it was an infection. The antibiotics seemed to help but my tonsils started playing up whilst on them and my son caught tonsillitis. Not long after finishing the antibiotics I came down with tonsillitis and had a severe case of body inflammation which left my legs dead arms numb and pins/ needles, my skin burning and agony in every joint and muscles and could barely move I went to the Dr but he refused more antibiotics even though the last lot obviously failed and told me he had no idea why my body got so inflamed but was worse for the infections I had been . He refused antibiotics and gave me naproxen and told Mr to wait two weeks to see if it clears up but now my tonsils are huge, oozing pus and I'm producing my tonsils are huge, oozing pus and I'm producing orange mucus... Should I go back? I feel they wil get annoyed o if I do. Do they sound incompetent?

My mom wont let me do anything at all?

How long does it take to completely clear a UTI in a cat...and not see blood anymore?

I am so frustrated, My cat has gone to the vet and is on antibiotics. I have 4 left and it seemed as if she was fine but today I noticed a faint, drop of blood. I am so frustrated and I've taken her 3 times to the vet. He put her on Zeniquin. Could it be the wrong medication? This last trip, Saturday, he also gave her a shot to reduce the inflammation and pumped her up with liquids. She came home and it looked like all was well, Eating, drinking, etc then boom I notice it this morning. Since this past Saturday all was well. What is going on? I am so overwhelmed. How long does it take to get rid of it and is there ANYTHING else I can do besides give her antibiotics. I am emailing her vet today to let him know on her progress. Just to sum everything up i am a 15 year old girl. I had acute bronchitis a month ago that lasted for a pretty long time. 4 days ago i Smoked 8 cigarettes. Samsung Gravity T phone not working?

My "Samsung Gravity T" Cellphone isnt working just right... Crackling noises in windows media player?

I was having some trouble with windows media player so i moved to itunes. It was working fine until i tried to copy music to my cell phone, i noticed that itunes encodes the music into aac (.m4a), which, isnt supported by my cellphone. I moved back to wmp (that was now working, suprisingly). But it wasnt able to play wma files, i did a sfc /scannow command. It said that it had found some errors and fixed them but upon restarting windows media player opened wma files without an error but only made cracking noises, it does this for every file type. Okay so this guy i go to school with is completely gay and its so obvious its not even funny anymore but he can't/won't come out because of who his family is. Whay causes inflammation in the back? ?

Hi everyone. I have been suffering from very severe back pain for years now and have tried all kinds of medications with hardly any relief. The pain is not just my lower back or just my upper back, its my entire spine from the head to the small of my back but the main pain and heat is in my shoulder / upper back area. Pain killers like hydrocodone and things of that nature don't touch the pain or discomfort. I recently was put on prednisone which made my pain disappear, which confirms that the pain is from inflammation. I am now off the prednisone because I had horrible side effects and naproxen and ibuprofen help a little bit but my question is. What could be causing such bad and painful inflammation in my whole back and what can I do to cure and prevent it so that I can stop taking so many pills and actually be happy again? I'm considering joining the Air Force and I know I would have to go to BMT. But about two months ago I was diagnosed with costochondritis which is an inflammation of cartilige near the ribs, breastbone, and sternum. I sometimes get shoulder pain and chest pain but the condition is benine and not serious I was just wondering would it be a good idea to join with this. I'm willing to work. Does 600mg's of Ibuprofen cause life threatening symptoms?

(I'm only 15 to start this question)I've been taking Hydroxzine(for Anxiety, 50 mg)and Ibuprofen(600 mg for Inflammation of the lungs). And lately I've been feeling weird(I've got an appointment on Thursday and I'm also gonna ask about this). I've stopped taking both(last Ibuprofen was at least 1 or 2 days ago) because i started feeling Dizzy(A side-effect on both bottles is Dizziness and Drowsiness). And for example, I had to prop my head up on 4 pillows to get to sleep. I felt discomfort when I laid down flat(it was either on one side or both). And see, with my Anxiety, I ALWAYS fear the worst when something like this occurs(I'm only 15, so I don't much control over my Anxiety yet). Lastly, I have stopped taking my Anxiety pills. It seems they throw me into an Anxiety episode when I take them

I am not scientist, but I know a decent bit about human biology and have read countless nutrition books. After reading the paleo diet, I wonder if some of the idea that our body has not evolved on certain foods is true. Foods that are highly processed and have many chemical additives are known to cause some inflammation. Our immune system is determined by our genetics, what our immune system recognizes is determined by our ancestry and what you are exposed too. Is there some truth that maybe our bodies arent recognizing these processed foods and its causing autoimmune responses in our bodies? And this is what is causing western disease? Is there already research on this, if so please post articles.

I didn't know it until yesterday that i am allergic to penicillin. Well i went to the doctor because i broke out in rash all over my body and he gave me a steroid to handle the inflammation. They also told me to drink a lot. Today i drank 2 glasses of tea and 3 glasses of sunny D. went i went to urinate a few minutes ago it stung a little. what could that be from? also i took some allergy medicine to help the rash not itch as much. Anybody else have Chron's or ulcerative colitis?

I was diagnosed with chron's disease 6 years ago and had to have a bowel resectioning done last june. Nothing seems to work, no medicine nor surgery nothing keeps my flare ups away, i was on remicaid treatments but it was so bad with inflammation and scarres tissue surgery was needed. Now there are talks of more remicade and/or 6mp (6-mercaptopurine) and i kno some people who have taken immuno-immodulators and gotten bad infections and congestive heart failure.. Do the benefits outweigh the risks? Any tips or advice? Can anyone relate and help me please?

Hi. So I have really bad sinus pressure in my face and forehead also my ears feel clogged all the time. I went to an ENT he sent me for a ct scan of my sinuses and said everything looked normal. No infection. Just a slight deviated septum and slight inflammation of the sinuses but no infection. He checked my ears, ear pressure test, hearing test and everything was normal there too. He sent me to get tested for allergies turned out I have no allergies at all. He basically told me there's nothing we can do. Medication and surgery won't help me because I don't have an infection nor do I have allergies. I'm in pain all the time and dizzy. Is there such a thing of having sinus pains and pressures ear pains clogged ears without having sinus infections or allergies. ??? And is there anything else I can do??

Question on yeast infection or std?

One month ago I had unprotected sex for about two minutes. I wore spandex underwear, leggings and sweatpants to bed that night and did not urinate after sex. and took plan B the following morning. That same day I started to become itchy and inflamed in my vulva. For two days the itching and inflammation increased. I also had a white discharge that did not have a foul smell. I did not notice any sores, abnormal bumps or scabs upon examining myself multiple times that were not present before the unprotected sex. I also did not notice any flu like symptoms. I asked my partner if he had any std's and he informed me that he did not, although he may have lied or had not been aware of an infection. After three more days of mild itching I got my period. Once my period was half way through, the itching, inflammation, heavy discharge and redness stopped. Was this a yeast infection? No sores, over all itchiness on most of vulva, swelling of labia minora, no flu symptoms. Or could this have been a primary herpes outbreak? Inputs?

Dream about flying and telekinesis?

Need paediatric Dr help urgently!! My baby sick for 7 weeks already still no diagnosis yet!!!?

My baby(one and half year old son) has been sick for 7 weeks until now. I brought him to EMD and he had admitted for 2 weeks for unknown fever. His fever at the first week is 37.6 is max T (Temperature) then 2nd week T max is 37.7(he saw dr and gave amoxicillin for 3 days) and 3rd week T max is 37.9(as the fever didn't go down in 48 Hr of antibiotic, I brought him to EMD and dr changed to augmentin) the fever didn't go down also and he saw his paediatric dr and changed to another antibiotic which is not penicillin group. I gave it for one week and the fever is stll increasing. In 4th week T max is 38.5. He had fever everyday and it never went down to normal. After I noticed T max is 38.5, I brought him to EMD and got admitted. Firstly, dr said mostly likely viral like (EDV). EDV is negative after blood test. Dr also did blood test for autoimmune, antinuclear, SLE, CMV, FBC, LFT, blood culture, urine culture, PBF. Nil chest infection by chest x ray.Noted WBC is 20.45, lymphocyte is high (can't remember), monocytes is 1.4 and LDH is 1226, PBF show lymhpocytosis. Other than that the rest of the blood tests r normal.Because of prolong fever and FBC and LDH abnormal, oncology dr saw my baby. Oncology dr thought that fever may be because of leukaemia according to FBC, LDH and PBF result. Bone marrow aspiration doneand it shows normal. No acute leukaemia. Then dr suggest PET CT scan and flow cytometry to rule out inflammation and tumour inside the body and JMML. PET scan show normal and flowcytometry also normal. After two weeks staying in hospital, WBC, Lymphocyte and monocytes back to normal and he was discharge but he was still having fever at the time of discharge. He didn't has any antibiotic, only parecetamol for fever. The fever used to go up to 37.9 or 38 in the morning ( around 10 to 12) it went down to 37.7 for the whole evening. His fever only came down at night time while he is sleeping (T range from 37.1-37.3).Please help to diagnose for my baby. Thz

Can anyone help diagnose or suggest relief for base knuckle/ MP joint pain in my right ring finger?

I've had various pains at the base knuckle joint in my right ring finger for over 4 weeks now. I am very active, golf, basketball, weightlifting, and bowling. I do not recall any direct trauma and woke up one evening with what felt like a throbbing heart beat in my right hand. The pain is localized, sharp and throbbing and comes and goes. A few days in, I would practically forget about it unless I "triggered" the pain through basic activity, ie picking up my laptop, opening a bottled drink, shaking someone's hand. Any grabbing or fist clinching action triggers the shooting pain. The pain is also present when the right ring finger is pushed outward toward the pinkie. X-rays were negative at the Ortho and he put me in a splint, but the pain is significantly worse when removing the splint after one week of wearing it. He asked about a history of gout or arthritis, but I never had any swelling, burning, bruising, etc. I believe it has to be MP joint inflammation from overuse, tendinitis, or maybe an ulnar nerve issue. Has anyone experienced something similar? I'm 32 and in good shape, so I don't believe it can be associated with weight, diet, etc. Please share your input. Thank you.

Okay, during xc running season I had knee pain and was diagnosed with patella femoral pain. An MRI showed inflammation, but no tear. My knee started to feel better. In march i went on a missions trip to Honduras. While playing soccer, I was slide tackled. My knee twisted funny, and I thought I tore something. I decided to give it time to heal, it's been about 90 days. My knee still hurts on the inside side of my left knee ( right side of my left knee). The pain isn't debilitating but it is uncomfortable and I could not run more than probably 1/4-1/2 a mile or maybe less without feeling pain. It feels tight and sore, but it calms down when I am sedentary. I have made an appt with my dr for next week, but wanted some insight to what this pain could be? Thank you in advance:)

How did you get diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis?

About a year and a half ago I had an episode of Optic Neuritis (inflammation of optic nerve). ON is a primary indicator of MS. I had an MRI done, but no lesions associated with the disease appeared. My eye never fully healed. Since my episode of ON, I have accumulated many other bizarre symptoms associated with MS. My joints are very painful, my leg muscles twitch a lot, I have muscle pain, slight ataxia, my muscles don't have much stamina or endurance, my extremities often fall asleep easy. Basically my body is usually in some sort of pain or discomfort. I know it's not in my head. I have noticed a steady progression of symptoms since my ON. I'm a 27 year old male and my grandfather had MS. Any insight or thoughts regarding the disease and how some of you might have been diagnosed. Another MRI? Neurologist? Help please.

Hi. So I have really bad sinus pressure in my face and forehead also my ears feel clogged all the time. I went to an ENT he sent me for a ct scan of my sinuses and said everything looked normal. No infection. Just a slight deviated septum and slight inflammation of the sinuses but no infection. He checked my ears, ear pressure test, hearing test and everything was normal there too. He sent me to get tested for allergies turned out I have no allergies at all. He basically told me there's nothing we can do. Medication and surgery won't help me because I don't have an infection nor do I have allergies. I'm in pain all the time and dizzy. Is there such a thing of having sinus pains and pressures ear pains clogged ears without having sinus infections or allergies. ??? And is there anything else I can do??

Cushings disease does cause symptoms Yes tumors also noticeable increase in water intake, noticeably thinning of and often courser coat waning energy levels weight gain. It can be managed with treatment though. If your dog does have these symptons then having her seen by a new vet is exactly what I would do. I would never accept the answer this vet gave you.

I have had severe pain in chest area and upper belly for 5 months now. Finally found out it is inflammation in the stomach (gastritis). I have stopped taking my NSAID and am watching what I eat and no more coffee. I have started taking Nexium, Pepcid A/C and drinking a lot of coconut water. For the last 3 days, am starting to feel a bit better. Less pain so was wondering if it is starting to heal or when I stop everything, will the pain still be there?

I dropped my phone at night about a week ago and couldn't find I until the next morning. The stickers inside said there was no water damage but when I opened the back there was water in it. I put it in rice for 2 days and it worked fine for 3 days except the "up" volume button on the side didn't work but I can just do that through settings. Today I dropped it on the ground (which I've done a million times) and I put the battery back in and it didn't turn on. This isn't a homework question. I'm just curious why a whole century or more of British novelists from George Eliot to Jane Austen to E. M. Forster have such established reputations. I understand that they address subtleties of human interaction, relationships and behavior, but to me they are SO boring I can barely read a whole chapter before I start feeling that I'm getting mentally tortured. How did this style develop in the first place? It seems that either these writers had good press agents (i.e., English teachers) or people's lives are even more boring than those depicted in those novels.

Inflammation on 2 pap smears?

This is starting to freak me out. They already ruled out stds and infections like bacterial vaginitis and yeast infection. The first pap smear came up as mild inflammation the second one came back as moderate. They didnt do an HPV test because my doctor said the results came back the same and will let the gyn do a colposcopy and maybe a biopsy. The gyn will probably do a hpv test as well if they need to. I am sick of this waiting to find out i most likely have cancer. I have even had kids yet and im 28 i dont want this to ruin my chances of having kids. African grey wing amputation?

ok my african grey had to have his wing amputated 2 days ago. My vet's instructions are to bring him back monday for a bandage change, antibiotics BID, and a med for pain and inflammation. He said if Ringo starts to get painful he'll pick the stitches out and chew on himself where the little nub is. Welllll this morning he was in his birdy burrito to get the antibiotic and he wiggled out of his bandage. So I let my vet know and I'm waiting for a response. First of all the prices will be the same at all of the schools before scholarships and financial need so... it depends on what school is known for giving more money for need based students...Second of all don't compare them all together, but compare 1 v 1, like for georgetown it has a real campus gated off, but would you prefer a more city school, where it doesn't have as much as a real campus...Have you ever been to boston or baltimore? In my opinion, boston has many other colleges surrounding it, and from what i've heard, they interact, like party with each other a lot, plus boston is an amazing and very fun city to be in (best seafood anywhere)...Third of all do you have any more schools that have good programs or simply interest you?...Lastly do you want a big/small school? and you should visit all of them, because when i visited my colleges, after I visited my top choice, I didn't like it at all and I left the tour early, so you never know! BTW i'm pretty sure GW is known for being pretty pricey, so it all depends if your parents are willing :) hope this was helpful!

Samsung Gravity T phone not working?

My "Samsung Gravity T" Cellphone isnt working just right... It turns on and off fine but once its turned on i cant press anything on the screen or the talk and end button on it. if someone calls me i can press the talk button to connect to them and hear them but i cant hang up the only way it hangs up is if the other person ends the call themself. i have tryed taking the battery out for long periods of time and i have tryed restarting and stuff like that but none of it has worked.. the phone has just gotten previous water damage and that might be the reason but i have waited a few days and nothing has changed.. please help?
