I am thinking of buying a cellphone from someone...?

Meet in a public place if this person isn't a friend or something. Check to see how the internet is, if it will send txts and receive txts perfectly, same with phone calls, try out some apps, see if there is any visible damage to the phone, ie. Cracked screen, dents, and also check to make sure it charges. What good is a phone that won't charge?
